I think we all can agree that roses are beautiful! This Mother’s Day I was gifted a beautiful rose bush for the garden (from my wonderful hubby). Since that day I’ve been caring for this lovely bush and admiring its blossoms on a routine basis. The color of the rose is a vivid pink that sometimes looks red, depending on the light of the sun. I’ve always loved rose bushes since my childhood. As a youngster, I tended to my mother’s rose bush and garden. Growing up in a Philly rowhome, we had a very small garden that took a little bit of work and a LOT of love to maintain.
Now that I’ve cared for my own garden for over 10 years, it feels good to carry on tradition. This will be the first of many posts devoted to roses, so rose-lovers, enjoy!!
