So, every year I have a garden and every year I like to try to grow something new! A plant that I have no experience growing, and have never grown before…that’s what I call the “wildcard”. In some years, I’ve had plants that I’ve experimented with and planted for the first time with great results! Those plants have become my garden staples (carrots, cucumbers, kale, lettuce, various herbs) and I plant them every year. This year the wildcard is watermelon! Wish me luck, I hope it turns out well. Of course, I’ll share my progress.
UPDATE: As you can see in the pics below, there has been some progress from the early stage (Mid May) to now (July 9th). Can’t wait to get some melons!
