One of my favorite parts of having a garden (besides eating the delicious food that comes from it) is watching it grow. When I grow veggies and herbs from seed I get to watch the whole process, and it’s amazing! One little seed can turn into a huge plant that produces a bounty of sustenance.
This year I am growing a variety of tomatoes, cucumbers, green beans, lettuce, and peppers. In addition to a slew of herbs: thyme, parsley, cilantro, dill, oregano, and basil.
In this picture, you can see the dirt is freshly tilled. I planted the seeds that day, and it will take months to get a mature plant that produces vegetables.
